The ladies of the Atlanta Dream were on fire Friday night as they fought for the win at the Georgia Tech Arena.
Reshanda Gray picked up a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds to help the Dream win 93-88 over the Wings. These both served as career highs.
Dallas (9-16) trailed 75-62 with 3 minutes left in the third quarter, but used a 12-3 run to pull within two early in the fourth. Sklyar Diggins led Dallas with 29 points.
“So glad to see Diggins play an amazing game tonight,” said Atlanta Dream fan Brian Martin. “However, it was even better to see the home team come through with the win.”
Atlanta, ranked fourth in the AP WNBA power poll, out rebounded the Wings 46-33.
The Atlanta Dream is set to take on Chicago Sky Aug. 26th in Phillips Arena.
