The stars were shining bright in Atlanta Friday night as Ludacris continued his annual LudaDay Weekend with a celebrity bowling match at Bowlmor Atlanta.
Celebrity attendees to this family-friendly event included Basketball Wives’s Gloria Govan, Love and Hip Hop’s Tahiry, actors Terrence J and Michael B. Jordan, singer Angie Stone, and many more.
The event was open to the public and allowed teams to form and go up against celebrities in an all star bowling showdown for prizes.
“This was my first event ever during LudaDay Weekend, and I can see why it has been so successful for some time now,” said Zontwell Hudson, who was also a competitor in the bowling challenge. “Unfortunately our team [representing Kent Bazemore] didn’t win as Lil Ronnie always has an excellent team,” said Hudson.
The event was also broadcasted from Atlanta’s own Streetz 94. 5 and gave guests the opportunity to be on the radio. “It was an awesome atmosphere and pretty good energy from everyone,”said actor Deric Kennedy. “It was all around a great night.”
LudaDay Weekend has become a tradition in Atlanta, with this serving as its 11th year. During the weekend, always held during Labor Day Weekend, the rapper hosts several events around the city and each centered around charity, with The Ludacris Foundation serving the community being at the forefront.
Ludacris’ charity and event filled weekend will continue Saturday (Sept. 3) with a party at Atlanta’s lavish Compound nightclub and a charity celebrity basketball game at Morehouse College on Sunday (Sept. 4) before concluding on Monday (Sept. 5) with an all-white party at Compound.
