The Wolf Creek Amphitheater was turned into a party Saturday night when Wolf Creek Funk Series concluded its summer-long trek. Hosted by Double D and music by DJ Daddy Dre, the 80’s and 90’s jams kicked on all night.
The night began with a rousing set from Klymaxx who was followed by songstress Cherelle, performing her hit “Saturday Love” and many more.
Next up was crowd-rocking set from disco veterans The SOS Band, who brought the house down with their opening and blazed through their hits such as “Tell Me If You Still Care”, “Take Your Time”, and many more.
The night then took a smooth turn when R&B group Cameo hit the stage. It was concluded by a reunion of the original members to bang out their catalog hits such as “Candy”, “Word Up”, and many more.
Wolf Creek will conclude with their concert season with a night of classic soul featuring Maze with Frankie Beverly and The Whispers on Oct. 1 beginning at 6:30 p.m.
