Launched in 2016, The AphterParty is an innovative website created by millennial entrepreneur, Khiry Clements. The site features original content and serves as the source for exclusive information about celebrity events and current affairs.
Khiry Clements began his career in journalism in 2011 at Valdosta State University, where he worked for 3 years as one of the lead reporters for the campus newspaper, The Spectator.
After graduating from Valdosta State with a bachelor’s degree in English, Khiry Clements worked with several organizations ranging from CBS Radio, Liquid Soul Marketing Group, Fulton County Government TV, and Streetz 94.5 and more developing social media content to strategically reach target audiences. He managed social media branding efforts and operated multiple social media pages with nearly 500,000 followers.
From 2016 -2017, Khiry helped the Atlanta Police Department reach the millennial segment. As the social media and event coordinator, Khiry developed unique viral social media content and events.
Khiry has served as a journalist, video producer, social media coordinator and digital media correspondent. He has been featured on Vh1’s Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, Jermaine Dupri’s The Rap Game, BallerAlert.com, and Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Khiry currently serves as a lead content producer for OWN Network’s Greenleaf star Gregory Alan Williams and Atlanta City Councilmember Ceasar Mitchell’s 2017 Atlanta mayoral campaign. He recently received a master’s degree in sociology from Clark Atlanta University in 2017.
